The committee will be wrapping up soon however if you are interested in donating items or making a monetary donation, there is still a box at the Anza Athletic Center, the Madera Clubhouse Lobby, and at Kathi Krieg’s home (2680 E. Many thanks to those in our community who have donated items, cash, or their volunteer time. And a special thank-you to the residents of Unit 31 who collectively donated 4,678 diapers at a recent unit party.
ANNOUNCING …
The Executive Board is excited to announce two appointments.
Cindy Mayron will fill the position of Publicity Chair currently occupied by JoAnn Haberer. Cindy’s duties will commence May 1st. Becky Ashin will fill the position of Membership Chair currently held by Angie Werner. Becky will begin July 1st. WELCOME!!
We are jubilant about sending our very best wishes to Angie Werner and Jack Davis for a happy marriage and extended honeymoon in Mexico. Angie wants everyone to know that she is officially a sunbird! She and Jack will be leaving in December. It is a comfort to know that both JoAnn and Angie will be back in Quail Creek when the snowbirds fly and the sunbirds retreat. Best wishes, ladies!
MARK YOUR CALENDAR: October 19, 2019
It’s time again, as you clean out those closets, to think about donating to TWOQC 2019 VA Homeless Clothing and Household Goods Drive. This drive supports the needs of the VA Homeless Services.
This year, as per their request, we will be collecting ONLY MEN’S FALL AND WINTER CLOTHING AND HOUSEHOLD ITEMS. So, please bag them up and hang onto those for us until October! All women’s clothing and men’s summer clothing can be taken to our wonderful local charities now.
Your donations are greatly appreciated and tax receipts will be available at the event. Direct your questions to clothingdrive@womenqc.com.
