What is a Named Scholarship?
March 2026 — A Named Scholarship is created when a person, or group of people, get together and donate a total of $3,500, which is the current amount needed to fund a full TWQOC Scholarship. They can then name it. It could be a Memorial Scholarship in honor of a loved one’s passing.
For Example, The Steven J. Perry Memorial Scholarship. Or, to celebrate a special occasion such as a 50th Anniversary or other special occasion. Or, simply donated by a group who supports education and wants to help in this special way, such as The Meads Family Scholarship. Many have found that this is an especially significant way to honor a loved one.
If you have a special occasion to celebrate, and you agree that helping others with their post high school education expenses is important, please consider funding a Named Scholarship.
