Thank you, Women of Quail Creek! We held a very successful Javelina Hoedown and made $12,907.83 for our scholarship endeavor. The Funding & Giving, Scholarship, and Decorations Committees devoted countless hours to ensuring that participants had a fabulous time and were willing to support this worthy cause. PHOTOS
On October 25 we will be holding our first large group luncheon. All Women of Quail Creek members are invited to attend. Our theme is the Roaring 20’s to help us celebrate coming through COVID 2020. We hope you’ll celebrate by coming in 1920’s dress or whatever makes you happy!! Be sure to RSVP on GroupWorks and get your check to the Activities Coordinator (520-625-9353). If you have any questions, please contact programs@womenqc.com.
We are still taking names for interest in serving on the Executive Board. You can nominate yourself too! Send names to presidentelect@womenqc.com.
∴ TWOQC’s HOLIDAY FUNDRAISER ∴
On November 22nd, TWOQC will begin a holiday fundraising event. This event will last until the 31st of December. Our main goal is to continue to raise funds for scholarships and other community charity projects in 2022. Because of the restrictions caused by COVID in 2020-2021, our fund-raising ability suffered along with the income of many families in our area.
With the beginning of the Thanksgiving season, let us all remember how fortunate we are by opening our hearts to those in need. Both high school and Women-In-Transition will benefit from your donations during this fundraising period. Please help us in this endeavor by donating to TWOQC Charities (checks payable to TWOQC or TWOQC Charities). You can drop-off or mail donations to Nancy Jacobs, 2312 E Mayview Dr, Green Valley, AZ 85614. Thank you.
Happy Thanksgiving from the Funding and Giving Committee.
