Membership Drive · 2020 Board Nominations
Our Membership Drive is underway and we hope you’ll join us for another year of fun, learning, and giving. We understand 2020 was mostly uneventful but hopefully with Covid vaccinations on the way, we can provide activities again. Until then, we hope you’ll try out some of our small group programs. Please contact Barb Hunsinger at membership@womenqc.com to drop off your check, made out to TWOQC, and to pick up your new name tag.
2021 Board Nominations – Since we cannot have our December member meeting to conduct our election we will vote by email. You will be receiving an email through Survey Monkey on December 16 that will contain the ballot. We hope you will take the opportunity to review the nominees below and cast your vote when you receive the email.
On behalf of the Board, I would like to thank Deborah Bryant (Chair), Jadine Hilt, and Joyce Walton for their time, expertise, and energy in working so hard to provide TWOQC with an excellent slate of nominees for the 2021/22 open Board positions.

YANA – You Are Not Alone
YANA is an exciting new program that has been developed by a committed group of special women; Bobbi Gordon, Clarice Sullivan, Pat Neel, Laura Colbert, and Peggy McGee. YANA grew from a desire to help TWOQC members manage the emotional trauma and logistical details after the loss of a loved one.
These ladies formed a committee and selected Bobbi Gordon to Chair their efforts. The committee met with fellow TWOQC members, Kris Wollard, Peggy Wyatt, and Lily Guthrie, who have assisted others in dealing with loss.
YANA will provide a resource group committed to serving club members with understanding and comfort, a library of information, and user-friendly resources to help get through the grieving process in a healthy and productive way. Informational handouts include a Quick Checklist of immediate things to do, a Comprehensive Checklist of things to be done as time passes, suggestions on how to take care of one’s self, how to handle financial matters/budgets, and frequently asked questions dealing with loss and grief.
Involvement is always a great way to meet people and give of your talents. If you are interested in this Committee, we hope you join us and our newest committee member Janice Messer, a retired Hospice nurse.
If you are a TWOQC member in need of resource information dealing with the loss of a loved one or to learn more about YANA, please contact Bobbi Gordon at yana@womenqc.com. Scan, click or tap the QR code to reach the YANA page on our website. Bobbi is also asking for glass OUI yogurt containers to use for a special gift from YANA.
