∴ JANET’S PRESIDENTS MESSAGE ∴
It is with great excitement and gratitude that I introduce myself as the 2026 President of The Women of Quail Creek. As I begin this new journey with our members, the words from the song “Getting to Know You” from The King and I keep playing in my head. That beautiful melody captures how I feel – excited, curious and eager to learn about of our members, stories, and the gifts each brings to the wonderful organization.
As we begin this new chapter together, I’d love to turn the focus to our members. What do we share in common? Maybe some members are an educator, a mother, a grandmother or perhaps have called more than one state home. We may even share a touch of that southern drawl! I encourage each member to share a little about themselves in the coming weeks.
Connections is one of my major focuses this year. Personal connections are the foundation of strong communities and organizations. These bonds are formed when people share their stories, interests and joys with one another. The more we know about each other, the stronger our sense of belonging and purpose becomes.
When we take the time to connect, we create opportunities for learning, laughter and growth. Each of us bring unique experiences and gifts, and by sharing these, we enrich not only our lives but also the lives of those around us.
I look forward to learning, laughing and growing togethers as we make this TWOQC year one filled with friendship and purpose. Join me in reaching out to someone each day as we transform the organization into a community where friendship and purpose thrive.
With warm regards and a smile,
Janet Shropshire
TWOQC President
∴ COMMUNITY OUTREACH ∴

The Community Outreach Committee is accepting donations for HOPE RISING Arizona. Our efforts have been very successful with many of the items on their wish list being donated. These items include Personal Care items; Education and Art Supplies and Gift Cards to Walmart, Target, Speedway Gas, Amazon and Dining. We could definitely use additional Gift Cards. Our local community may leave donations at the Quail Creek Madera Clubhouse in donation bins through January 27.
HOPE RISING Arizona provides long term services to young survivors of sex trafficking and exploitation. The HRAZ property is a large beautiful undisclosed ranch location with a mission to create an environment of safety and trust where residents experience healing, education and empowerment for the life of independence they deserve. And, coming in February…
We’re excited for our next project to support United Community Health Center’s pediatric dental and behavioral health programs. We will officially begin collecting new and gently used shoes in February and will be reimbursed by Funds2Org, a for profit social enterprise and used in developing nations for impoverished people to start their own business.
