Clothing & Household Goods Drive for Homeless Veterans
Only 1 week to our annual clothing and household goods drive on October 15. The VA is also asking for pet food, kitty litter and other pet supplies for the Vets with pets. Their pets may be the only family they have. Granola bars and bottled water for the homeless veterans who drop in the VA to get a haircut, do laundry or have medical/dental appointments are always needed. The
hospitalized Vets especially enjoy reading westerns, followed by books on military topics. Paperbacks preferred.
Here is a note of appreciation from the family of a formerly homeless veteran who received items from our recent baby shower collections. (Click note to enlarge)

Online Member Photo Book
TWOQC is preparing an online photo book of its members. Come to the October 31 membership brunch photo-ready and your head-shot will be added to the yearbook of paid members for 2017. Access the link to the Photo Book.
The photos appear as a page in alphabetical order (by first name) with only your name and no further identifying information via a link from our website. We hope this will help our growing membership become better acquainted and also help some of our aging memories!
The Perfect Wrap
“The Perfect Wrap” will be on display and available for purchase at the October 31 brunch. Thank you, Sue Ann Obremski, for modeling the Perfect Wrap at last month’s program.
Be thinking about how many you might need for gifts as well as one for yourself! All proceeds will be donated to YOTO.
TWOQC received a very nice thank you for the donations that were received and delivered to the YOTO mini store last week. They also expressed thanks for the baby clothes, maternity outfits, and diaper bag we delivered.
