From Carol Mutter, TWOQC President…
All of you outdid yourselves providing gift bags for the YOTO young ladies to make their Christmas something to remember! Kristyn and Daniel were blown away by the outpouring of our membership to their program. They could “feel” the love and support that was so sincerely
expressed at the luncheon last Monday.
Besides the van that Daniel drove out to take gift bags back to the YOTO office, three additional vehicles were loaded and driven by our members to caravan into the office so all gift bags could be delivered at one time. Their entire staff came out to help unload and just could not believe the volume of gifts donated!
On Tuesday I received a call from Nicola Hartmann, executive director, personally thanking TWOQC for all of the gifts. She was overwhelmed, thrilled and very appreciative. Through our act of kindness, along with other donations, every YOTO student will receive a Christmas gift this year. «Learn about YOTO» «View Photos: Luncheon & Yoto Gifts – HERE!»

Fashion Show *New* Opportunity · February 24
This year there will be a new opportunity to increase our donations to American Cancer Society (ACS) by being able to sponsor a table. You may sponsor a table at the fashion show luncheon for $100. A sponsor sign could be displayed in honor of a cancer survivor; to memorialize someone who has lost their cancer battle; to display a business or family name.
For a $150 donation, you get the sign at the luncheon plus have a track sign at the Relay for Life on April 8 at the Rancho Sahuarita Clubhouse, and name on the t-shirt worn by Relay participants.
Contact Carol Shelton at «fashionshow@womenqc.com» or Ginny Hutcheson at «vhutcheson@msn.com» to sign up for a sponsorship. You may pay with cash, check payable to American Cancer Society or credit card. The donation is fully tax-deductible.
Fashion Show Tickets
Your next opportunity to get a fashion show ticket will be this Friday, Dec. 16 at 6:00 p.m. in the Madera Clubhouse lobby. A portion of the $25 ticket fee for lunch ($9) goes directly to American Cancer Society.
If you have questions regarding the Fashion Show (needs/wants, volunteer opportunities, etc) please visit the «Fashion Show page» for more information, or email the fashion show chair (Carol) at «fashionshow@womenqc.com».
Hugs from the Hospitalized Veterans
The VA was so appreciative for all the items you donated for the “Wish List” for the hospitalized veterans. Not sure they were totally surprised knowing the generosity of TWOQC for homeless and hospitalized veterans. If you did not attend or forgot to bring an item to the luncheon and still want to send a gift to a veteran, please leave items at 1908 E. Longspur Place.«map»
Peggy McGee will be going to the VA for the last time before Christmas on December 19.
