I can’t believe that November is almost over and 2022 is just around the corner. TWOQC has accomplished a lot in 2021. We are now an Arizona Non-Profit Corporation having just been approved. We’ve revised our Bylaws and are beginning the process of becoming a 501(c)(3) Corporation. I want to thank all the committee members working on our Non-Profit status. This will help our charitable fundraising.

We are looking to make other charitable donations through our Needs Assessment for any group or organization wishing to receive a donation from TWOQC. The Needs Assessment requirements are set out below.

In addition, I want to remind everyone of TWOQC’s Holiday Fundraiser beginning on November 22^nd running through December 31^st. Details may be accessed here: TWOQC’s Holiday Fundraiser or you may access last month’s entire message via this link. Please help us raise funds for our Scholarships and our other charitable requests by donating to TWOQC.

∴ NEEDS ASSESSMENT REQUIREMENTS ∴

Effective December 1, 2021 all charities wishing to request consideration for a donation, both monetary and in-kind, from The Women of Quail Creek (TWOQC) for the year 2022, must submit a Needs Assessment Form. The form is available in the TWOQC slot on the wall located in the hallway of the Quail Creek Madera Clubhouse. You may also download the form – select from two versions:

1) online form – download to your computer/device and type-in answers in each section
2) handwritten fill-in form – download to your computer/device, print form and hand-write answers

Note: On some devices, either form may auto-download.
To be considered, your request must reach us by the 28th of February 2022.
The Funding and Giving Committee will review all applications and make recommendations to the TWOQC Executive Board.
The Executive Board will have final approval of all requests.
Approved donation requests both monetary and in-kind will be subject to funds available.

A reminder that ALL events, including small-group events, are open to ALL members! Mark your calendar, watch for announcements & sign-up in GroupWorks. All Quail Creek female residents are welcomed to join TWOQC. As a member, you will have full access to all programs and events.

As part of our upcoming Holiday Luncheon, the TWOQC Community Outreach Committee is sponsoring a food drive supporting the Sahuarita Food Bank. When you bring either canned food items or a check (made payable to the Sahuarita Food Bank) to December’s holiday luncheon, you will be entered into a drawing to receive a beautiful table centerpiece. Three winners will be chosen. Access this list of suggested food items that are especially needed.

‘Tis the season to give generously and perhaps you just might receive a little something in return!
