∴ DIANE’S PRESIDENTS MESSAGE ∴
We are a Non-profit Arizona Corporation which is also a charitable 501(c)(3) organization pursuant to the IRS. Our Mission Statement says, “We are a Community of Women dedicated to Learning, Giving, and Engaging.”
For Learning, we have membership programs which usually occur on the last Monday of the month, as well as small group activities and programs. Some of the small groups include In-My-Kitchen, On-the-Go, 3rd Friday Book Club, the Garden Club, and Rock Painting.
Our Giving consists of two major fundraisers for our Scholarships and for our local Green Valley/Sahuarita charities. The Scholarships are our Endeavor, or primary funding goal. This year we awarded 17 scholarships totaling $50,500. [Funding & Giving] [Javelina Hoedown]
In addition to monetary fundraising, and through our Community Outreach, we have in-kind drives such as a book drive for elementary students, a teacher shower to donate supplies (video clip), a collection of pajamas & age-appropriate books for the Angel Heart Pajama Project, and a collection of items for needy seniors. [See more here.] For Honor Flights, we collect letters for the veterans on those flights.
Our ways of Engaging, besides the above activities, include a Members Luncheon and the Holiday Luncheon mentioned above. We host an annual Open House for members and prospective women members to learn about our organization, its committees, events, programs, and fundraising. [Photo Gallery]
TWOQC dues are $25 per year. Those funds are used for programs, luncheons, and administrative expenses.
Our main method of communication with our members is through GroupWorks™. It’s there that members can learn about our organization, the upcoming events, and register for small groups and luncheons.
In addition to GroupWorks™, we have this website – womenqc.com. There you can find the Bylaws, Executive Board members, information about our committees, and other general information.

The Javelina Hoedown is a popular and fun-filled event that many residents look forward to attending each year. Tickets have sold out for the last several years, so you will want to get your tickets early. In addition to dinner, drinks, line dancing and fun, you will have opportunities to bid on to win a large variety of gift baskets, silent auction items and CASH! You must be present to win a basket or silent auction items.
CASH RAFFLE tickets will be part of the pre-sale ticket sales, too. However, you do not need to be present to win CASH. So even if you are out of town or can’t attend the Javelina Hoedown in person, you can still be part of the CASH RAFFLE. Jackpots in the past have been more than $600. Our annual Cash Raffle is now a 50/25/25 raffle, meaning that 50% of the sale will go to TWOQC Scholarships and 2 winners will split the other half giving everyone a greater chance to win!

In addition to a chance to win cash and gift baskets, TWOQC is also selling Jim Click Raffle tickets for $25 each. That ticket allows you to be part of Jim Click’s effort to support local charities. 100% of the sales by TWOQC will go to TWOQC Charity Activities. Prizes for the Jim Click Raffle are:
- Grand Prize is a 2023 Ford Bronco Raptor
- 2nd Prize is two 1st class, round trip tickets to anywhere in the world (Restrictions apply, please see the rules)
- 3rd Prize is $5,000 Cash

Call a few friends or neighbors and help TWOQC support scholarships! Get your tickets for the Javelina Hoedown, Jim Click Raffle tickets, Basket and Cash Raffle tickets and put on your jeans and cowboy hat and we’ll see you at the Hoedown! Yeehaw!
∴ COMMUNITY OUTREACH ∴ Contact Community Outreach with your questions.
On September 6, the Community Outreach Committee “showered” 23 teachers at Sahuarita Elementary School with construction paper, dry erase supplies, copy paper and many other items that they routinely use throughout the school year. Each got a Starbucks card too. The teachers expressed their appreciation for the generosity of TWOQC and Quail Creek residents.
HONOR FLIGHT
There are 79 veterans who will be heading to our Nation’s Capital in early November. TWOQC members and the Quail Creek community are encouraged to take time to write a thank you note or letter to one or more of them thanking them for their service. Letters or notes should be placed in an unsealed envelope and taken to 2719 E. Sawyer Rd, Green Valley by Friday, October 13th. The veterans really appreciate the letters they receive during “Mail Call” on their return flight home and often reread them several times as they recall their Honor Flight experience.
