∴ DEBI’S PRESIDENTS MESSAGE ∴

revel in the joys clipartChange. It is inevitable and it is the one thing that is always constant. Change in the weather. Change in our health and bodies as we age. Change in technology. How do we manage change with grace and confidence? As I was contemplating this the other day, it occurred to me that one way to accomplish this goal is to focus on the good things that remain the same as we are in the midst of change.

TWOQC has had a recent change with the resignation of our dear President, Sharon Pulcinella. We will miss her and wish her well. Change in leadership can be a challenge. As the President-Elect and Acting President, let me tell you about the good things where I will place my focus during this time of change.

I will focus on the wonderful Board members who graciously donate their time and talents in their leadership roles. I will focus on the beautiful TWOQC friendships that I have developed over the past several years. I will focus on the worthy efforts that TWOQC accomplishes through the giving of scholarships to deserving young ladies, the Community Outreach activities that donate to local charities, and the amazing programs that are shared with our members.

At this time of change, spring, and rejuvenation, may you find a way to live through the changes that come your way and revel in the constants that bring joy to your life.

∴ SCHOLARSHIPS ∴

Don’t forget to attend Scholarship Awards Celebration!hope to see you there clipart_ Screenshot 2024-04-13 101637

♥ May 8, 6:30pm, in the Madera Clubhouse Ballroom ♥  The Awards Celebration is the culmination of a year-long effort to help young women further their education by granting scholarships. If you contributed in any way by attending the Javelina Hoedown or donating to the Scholarship Matching Fund or one of the Named Scholarships, then you will not want to miss the awards night. We invite you to come and meet the winners, hear their inspiring stories, and celebrate with them.
