Monthly Member Spotlight: Patti Giannasi
Patti moved to Quail Creek in 2011 with her husband of 45 years (Moe) from Colorado. She is a mother of three and grandmother of one. Even though she lives in Quail Creek full-time it is hard to find her at home as she loves to travel. She has been to Italy, Mexico and Greece over the last couple of years and is in China now. She also enjoys visiting wineries in California, Italy, and the Willamette Valley of Oregon.
Prior to living in QC Patti was an Intensive Care Nurse for more than forty years which included being Director of Critical Care Services. During that time she was a member of the Paul Harris Fellow of Rotary International.
Since moving to Quail Creek, Patti has not let any “grass” grow under her feet! She loves to meet new people and is the Secretary of the Food and Beverage Committee, past 2nd VP/Membership on the board of The Women of Quail Creek, a member of various clubs which include putters, investments, pinochle, wine and hiking. If that isn’t enough Patti enjoys swimming, working out at the Anza Athletic Center, and is a speed reader with a good book always nearby.
As she loves to cook (especially Italian foods) and bake, her most recent accomplishment was presented first place in the Quail Creek Best Dessert category for her French Apple Tart. Patti shares her recipe here for all to enjoy: «French Apple Tart».
